A lovely owner run Establishment, with Forest Chalet, Log Cabins, Guest House, Bunk House, and Camping, situated within the boundries of SanParks, in a tranquil forest setting, 14km outside Plettenberg Bay, just 1 km off the N2. Secure on site safe parking.

The Lodge is situated within the boundries of SanParks, however it is a privately owned 1.9ha property. The guests have access to all the facilities of SanParks in the area, like hiking, mountain bike trails, picnic spots, angling, etc

Most of our rooms are en-suite, either with bath, shower, toilet, basin - or with shower, toilet and basin. All en-suite rooms have selected DSTV channels.Harkerville Forest Lodge is situated on the Golden Mile of the GARDEN ROUTE, 13 km from Plettenberg Bay, known as the French Riviera of South Africa and 20 km from Knysna - the capital of the timber industry of South Africa and the heart of the Garden Route. South Africa, especially the Garden Route is blessed with exceptional natural beauty, pristine coastlines, indigenous forest and sweeping mountain ranges and the Harkerville Forest Lodge is situated in the heart of all of this.

n close proximity you will find lots of interesting places to visit like, Birds park, Elephant sanctuary, Wolf sanctuary, River boat trips, Sea going trips, Wildlife santuary, Forest exploration trips, Mountain biking, Hiking, Deepsea fishing, and plenty more exciting things for you to explore. On one of your hiking or biking trips in the forest, you might just spot a leopard, bushbuck, bushpig, Knysna loerie, or the elusive Knysna elephants.

Cancellation Policy
NO refunds on cancellation of reservation, or for NON-arrivals. If accommodation has not been taken up before 23:00 on arrival day, it will be treated as a NON-arrival.
